How to Host Q&A Connections Program on your Walmart Listing

What is the Q&A Connections Program?


Walmart and Bazaarvoice partnered to help brands build user-generated content (UGC) programs on Walmart.com. Bazaarvoice leads the industry with the best-in-class solutions to customer service and content authenticity standards. One of the programs they’ve built is the Q&A Connections Program that helps sellers answer questions that are posted by their customers at Walmart.com.




Sellers would need to apply to be eligible for this program. Once approved, they gain access to the Dashboard that provides a notification every time a question is asked relevant to their items. Then, they can respond to every question using the Dashboard.


Walmart only approves qualified sellers for this program. Sellers should meet the requirements and must have enough knowledge to respond to questions about all the products in a specified brand.


Here are the following types of Sellers eligible for Q&A Connections:

  • Manufacturers

  • Private label brand owners

  • Manufacturers of branded white label products

  • Creators of custom or handmade products

  • Sole or exclusive distributors of a product on Walmart.com


Note: Bazaarvoice is partnered with other retailers. If you are registered with another retailer’s website, you will need to set up a separate account specifically for Walmart.


How to Sign Up


For manufacturers and brand owners

Create a Partner Support case and submit the following information

  • Contact name

  • Contact email

  • Contact phone number

  • Company website URL

  • Company description

  • Brand name

  • Company display name Note: This name will appear on the Q&A Connections reply so the length must be 4-25 letters with no special characters.

  • The category of items you want to monitor

  • Your company logo (maximum size: 100 x 40 pixels; supported formats: .GIF, .PNG, .JPG, .RGB)

  • A valid Reseller Permit or business license that has the display brand name


For authorized resellers

Create a case with Partner Support and submit the following information:

  • Contact name

  • Contact email

  • Contact phone number

  • Company website URL

  • Company description

  • Brand name

  • Company display name Note: This name will appear on the Q&A Connections reply so the length must be 4-25 letters with no special characters.

  • The category of items you want to monitor

  • Your company logo (maximum size: 100 x 40 pixels; supported formats: .GIF, .PNG, .JPG, .RGB)

  • A signed authorization letter from the manufacturer or brand owner You can download the authorization letter here. The letter must be signed by someone in the company with authority like a director, owner, etc.


How Long will the Application Take?

After submitting the required documents and information, Walmart will verify everything. Within four weeks, Walmart will notify you about the status of your application. If you’re approved, a Q&A Connections account will be created for you and Bazaarvoice will send you an email with your login credentials. All of the products under Walmart.com will be linked to your Dashboard in Bazaarvoice.
