Take your listing optimization to the next level using Walmart’s new free tool, the Listing Quality Dashboard. It gives sellers specific insights on how they can further drive sales and grow their business.

In 2020, Walmart released the Listing Quality Dashboard to provide sellers with additional data and guidance on how they can optimize their listings for better selling potential. The dashboard is located in Walmart’s Seller Center and it reveals how your listing rates according to their quality guidelines and gives suggestions on what can be improved.
Here’s how you can access the dashboard:
Log into Seller Center
Select Growth Opportunities under the heading Analytics & Reports in the left-hand navigation

3. Select the Listing Quality tab

Walmart looks at all the factors that can affect a customer’s purchase decision and reduces those into a single holistic score. It even includes a quality score for both catalog and item levels.
This score is determined by four factors:
Content and discoverability
Offer
Ratings and reviews
Post-purchase quality

Content & Discoverability
This section gives insights into how your content can be improved. It breaks down all variables that contribute to purchases. The number next to the title is a summary of how many issues you can fix. There is an Edit button under the Action column if you are able to make edits for that attribute. You will see a locked icon if you are not the content owner.
Content
Your content is important because it's the first thing a customer sees. The content dashboard is separated into 4 main attributes:
Item Name Optimize your listing title to earn a high listing quality score. The goal is to have as many attributes (product's size or color) as you can while still keeping it concise. In Walmart, shorter titles may perform better.
Description Just like the title, you should also consider the keywords, complexity, and length when writing a description.
Images Your listing should have at least 6 high-quality images. Low-quality images may turn customers away and can dock your listing quality.
Discoverability
Discoverability attributes are anything that can help your customers find your product on the website. It includes product size, count, brand, color, condition, or flavor. High-quality Walmart listings should have as many discoverability attributes as possible.
You will see suggestions on how you can make your item more discoverable on Walmart. This also includes attributes like the brand, manufacturer part numbers, colors, and size (if applicable).

Offer To get the best score and most exposure and sales, your products should have competitive prices, enough stocks, and fast shipping.
Price If your current price is not competitive, Walmart can show you a comparably priced item in a new tab.
Shipping Speed Measures the offer based on how fast the seller can ship the item. If you struggle to deliver quickly, Walmart offers several options that can help. Walmart's ThreeDay and TwoDay shipping is available. Walmart also offers discounted carrier rates.
Published and Transactable Measures how often your item is published & in stock for customers.

Ratings & Reviews
Consumer reviews and ratings help a lot in determining your listing quality and ranking. High-quality products, accurate listings, and great customer service all contribute to getting positive reviews.
Post Purchase
Provides insights on how your item is performing after a customer orders. It measures delivery defects, returns, and any cancellations. Accurate images and information on your description can help customers fully understand what they are ordering, making it less likely for them to cancel or return any orders.

Delivery Defects Orders that were delivered after the Expected Delivery Date.
Cancellation Rate Orders that are canceled after receiving the order from Walmart.
Return Rate Orders that have been returned because of problems with the product delivered to the customer.
